The Push for Service Push Button is suitable for large retail, assistance, security and control applications. The device contains a receiver that checks whether the channel is busy before sending (channel busy check). It is able to send text messages directly to text pagers or to call up a pager. It can send direct messages to paging recipients, making simple systems available at lower costs, as intermediate receivers and stations are not required for short-range applications. With the help of an applicable receiver, the Push for Service Push Button can also be used for general remote applications, such as switching on lights, disarming alarms, as a help button in sister call systems, but also as a service button in hardware stores, supermarkets or for example fitting rooms. Feeding through a standard CR2032 battery, the transmitter will operate for more than a thousand transmissions under normal conditions before the battery needs to be replaced. Push for Service Push Button stations support up to five inputs, each of which can be programmed with up to thirty-five characters. The range is reduced depending on the building.

By default, the Push for Service Push Button comes with a mounting block, but it can also be built in the same way as most electrical switchboards if required. In this case, you receive a programmed printed circuit board without housing. The Push for Service Push Button transmitter is available in two sizes and is also available in black. By default, it is delivered in white in the smaller form.

The pagers are programmed according to the POCSAG technology, that means that it receives the calls through cap codes. The text to appear on the pager is programmed in the button.
